Started on the outisde just a little bit to give me light when running from CT spawn to the basement... (the outside WILL stay that dark).
Now, these are still WIP screenies. I have changed some things and most likely they will stay the same from now on (except the back lab, I don't like the zombie body sticking through the table :\)

I started on a new map, zm_the_hive.
It is going along well and I have some sneak peek screenies for you guys!
So far I have one spawn and one main area done. Just gotta finish the bathrooms and add in the supply closet then I can move on to working on the science/research wing.

I saw a cannon in a zombie map, I prefer fun maps over realistics maps, so I liked the idea but saw room for improvement, so I made my own cannon.

On the maps with cannons that i played, there were 4 buttons for aiming, and with 32 people trying to point it there own way it wasn't easy. Also you had to press another button to make the cannon stop moving. With my cannon, only 1 person has imput on the cannon controls. Also the controls are only 1 button. When you press the button to control my cannon, you control it, not tell it to move. Your player is frozen and you can move it with your normal movement controls(forward aims up, back aims down, left turns it left, right turns it right, attack fires the cannon-jump and use unfreeze you and you can continue to move normally). Also as long as someone is in control nobody else can press the button. Also my cannon is easy to aim, it has a monitor who's camera is in the direct center inside the cannon, and on the monitor there is a little target in the center. There is also a button inside to fire the cannon so if only 1 person is using it you don't have to have someone else outside the cannon fire it for you.
perks VS cannons you may have seen before:
-one button control
-one person controls at a time
-easier to aim
-has a ladder that moves with the cannon so you can get inside pretty much however you point it
draw backs:
-can't aim up and down very well if someones in it, but you can just shoot them out if people are causing a problem =P
-if turned strait down the tip will go through the ground, not really a problem just... meh
-func_monitors don't show the skybox
-doesn't work well spinning on both axes at once
