I've heard a few users suggest Anti-Camp for my ZM server, I'm wondering if it would be better, so the humans have to move around, but it seems the players have adapted to this strategy of every map they will go out and find a "good spot" as they usually say over the mics, and fight off the zombies there, survival style without all the running and, what not.
So basically I'm concerned if anti-camp will ruin the fun, or perhaps increase it so players don't have to deal with 20 guys packed in a 10x10 bathroom
i think it depends where ur camping, if u camping in one of those hard to reach spots then i think it would be a good idea, but when u barricade a door way with furniture then its not that great at least thats my opinion
There are a number of ways to combat human camping.
1. For maps with high spots, ledges, etc. that make it difficult for zombies to trasverse because they are always getting knocked-back while trying to climp, simply enable 3 second jetpack for zombies (this way that can't fly too long, but if used correctly does the job). I use this on a lot of maps and it works great.
2. For maps with rooms to barricade with funiture etc. Just enable sv_turdophysics and this will allow the zombies to crouch near the opening (keep from getting shot), and then use your binded "use" key and the funiture slowly moves. There are other tactics to use here as well if you have a good communicating zombie team, i.e. have a few sucidial zombies to intice humans to accidently to shot the funiture out of the way. Also, if you make phy_pushscale 5 or greater, when they accidently shot the funiture it really blows away more.
I think camping it part of the mod ans should be allowed and like lex said u can enable jetpack for zombies.It also come's to good teamplay on the zombie side as well on the human side.
i wouldnt want it cause camping apart of the mod i believe.
some camping spots take skill to get to others dont. i dont mind if 10+ people pack in a room just part of it most the time alot of peopel camping one will get to close to door or entry =P
personally if im the only zombie and they all camp i wait outside and make them bored then get the ones that come out looking for me =P
I'd have to say no, the whole fun about some map is the hiding and camping and awaiting the arival of the zombies, you cant expect people to survive long if they have to keep moving, and it would definetly take a big fun element away

I had a Glass Server before with Anti-Camp... till it started banning people of it's own yeah I think it was a bug in the mod but it started to ban people I had to remove it cause it was really annoying
Well, camping is basically the only thing that is almost for sure to keep you alive.
Forts/Barricades
•People could come in after you've finished building.
•People could destroy them (if they're being a**holes)
•Zombies could work together and manage away in.
Camping
•Zombies have a less likely chance of getting you if your high, and they try getting up(shoot 'em down)
•Zombies, have a hard time getting to you/partner if you've got a slender vent blocked.
And other methods you will know about.
I don't understand at all, why on earth anyone would consider this for a zombie mod server, the entire point of zombie mod is camping behind strategically placed barricades.
one thing that allways annoys me when camping is when they are in illigal spots, like the glitch on cs assualt or the vents in cs assault, people who over camp ' Illigal spots ' should be zombiefyed,
but by all means camping should be allowed, just when its impossible for zombies its annoying
but i dought cold will implment this , you can find some great event scripts for the time being, just they slap health, but are easly configurable to zombiefy
