i say down for weeks not because of waiting for ZM patches, those are quick thanks Cold!

I say that because even after i patch it it still dont work, and i end up trying various things, even full reinstalls but no go...i hate windows and valve updates!

I had my serv runnin exactly like i wanted ...

Ya i dont know, i guess i'll scrap trying to run a ZM server anymore. It's just not worth the hassle with all the valve updates killing it, then taking weeks to get it back online.

This may be a stupid question but isnt the valve auto-steam updating the cause of the problems in the first place?

I think my steam auto-updated and thats when my server died, but now with the new zm patch it still wont run.

also i cant find hldsupdatetool ? i saw something about that in the other ...

sorry yes, i tried the newest ver as soon as it was available (meant to type 1.2.4)

also i have a shortcut on my desktop for my dedicated serv, it gets to where u click start server, but it goes away when i do and never brings it up.

I installed the new Fixed ver 1.3 on my ZM serv but it still won't start, when i click start server it just dissappears on me and don't come up.

I'm sure i didnt do anything noobish when putting the files into my server files, so what else do i have to do besides that? do i need to ...

hey, if i dont have Mani_admin anymore and im using BAT instead which is working fine BTW

how do i adjust the ammo amounts?

GUYS I FIGURED IT OUT BY REMOVING EVERYTHING AND ADDING THEM ONE BY ONE, MANI ADMIN WAS HOSING ZM FOR ME. ONCE I REINSTALLED DS AND ZM IT WORKED WITH METAMOD 1.3, BUT NOT WITH MANI....

dont know why no ones done that yet, but that would make things like way easier ROFL

I had 1.2.3 on there and it did this, so i updated it to 1.3

still same problem

it wouldnt start in the first place - thats my problem i click start server and nothing comes up.

so no it wasnt running when i copied over the new DLL

I had a good working ZM server until 8/30 when valve skrewed it up again. I downloaded the 1.2.3 fix into my cstrike directory - however my server still wont start. I open it and click start server and the window dissappears and i never see the server console come up. This happened before ...
