Balance issues

Post by {JEBUS_54} »

Ok, love the mod its great, all i play.

But the zombies have wayyyyyyyyyyy to long of a reach, its just a joke how tehy can stab from 8 feet away. Im sure alot of people would like to see it decreased a few feet.

Next, once a human gets stabbed, he shouldnt become a zombie instantly, it should take around 10 seconds for him to become one. This would also allow alot of suppense while the humans are hiding and to know if one of there fellow men has been stabbed.

Zombies should have 600 hp, but instead of it reseting when they are near death, they should heal on their own, so probably 20 hp a second when they heal.

Thoughts? Suggestions?[/list]

yeah the zombie knife range is annoying but if u think about it they do sort of need it when chasing someone since they have guns and knock u back easy, plus they have barricades and stuff.

YA but the zombies speed is incridible, its impossible to out run a zombie enless u have a incredible head start, even then ur dead.

their range has to be decreased

This would be awesome, so maybe you can set the timelimit. Everytime I explain this Mod to someone, i refer it back to Zombie Movies, this would make that even more realistic :P.

I've always wondered why this occurs myself...is it a factor of the zombies FOV? There's got to be some reason for it.

:\ It doesnt seem that long. But it is longer than a human's reach thats for sure.

I think its just fine.

As for speed. I believe servers have their own speed settings. Usually a zombie will run faster than a human.

But guess what? You can knock em back. There have been many times where ive struggled to catch a guy with a pump shotty.

Try catching a guy heading to his friends....and their friends have auto snipers and paras. Not to mention the nades.

nades usually help the zombies more than the humans, i always laugh in lila_panic where theres like 10 people on top of the orange crate and someone throws a nade which sends the zombies up top  . Or when someone destroys a barricade cause of a grenade

I disagree entirely. If you zigzag, run in a line with other zombies behind you, or use team work to attack them from different directions, then you don't need to use this as an exploit.

Please change this. Its annoying when a zombie can get you from nearly 8 feet away. Its entirely unfair, and feels like a cheat. And there are a lot of situations where this is completely unfair, like reaching 8 feet through a window, or reaching THROUGH a barrier at someone several feet behind it. This needs to be changed.

Where did you get that idea? It's done with the code.
