One possible cause is when you uploaded it, your ftp program changed the case.

Here is how the Source engine works with files.

If you dont use sv_downloadurl.
Regardless of case, if in the models.cfg or downloads.cfg you use all lower case, it will always find the file.

If you use sv_downloadurl.
Then things get messy, the best method of approaching this problem is by using lower case for everything, then there can be no mess ups =)

Exactly, just make sure you are comparing apples-to-apples and you should be fine. I will extract the rar I've hosted and make any upper-case to lower case and reflect in the needed code in the downloads.cfg and the models.cfg

When you connected to your server, did you see the files downloading? Go to your client files and delete both the models and materials files for the fat zombie and reconnect to your server and see if you actually get all of them. We'll start from there.

and did it work? did you get all of the resources...any missing? when you say it's not working...do you see ERROR on model, or no model, or regular T model, or just normal zombies?

that's the problem...do this...delete the t_phoenix.vvd on your redirect location and re-ftp it and try the whole process over again...i had a very similiar situation with these models with the IMP I had and it turned out my ftp must have corrupted or something two of the files.

Folks,

These models work, but because of the number of resource files and people using sv_downloadurl, there's higher probabilities of issues with missing files, corrupt files, maybe missed one character copy/paste for configs etc. etc.

The best way to go about this is not manually copy resource files to your client game files, then connect to your server and then compare your server files with your newly downloaded client files and make sure you got everything. If you didn't then delete all sv_downloadurl files and re-upload...some ftp clients suck and files can become corrupt or partially uploaded w/o you even knowing. Keep doing this and keep trying, they DO work.
