well try to contact him and get permission...damn map is a nice zombie map...just need weapons on the ground of each spawn area (can even buy now...no buy zones...but could care less about buy zones) then zombie_respawn would kick ass!
Yeah I don't contact mapmakers either if I make extra spawnpoints in a map... seems a bit stupid since you're not really changing the lay-out of the map!
people playing the map say only buy zone for one team...forgot which team...can someone please either add the other buy zone or just add weapons on the ground like an FY map is done a lot of the times...then with weapons on the ground zombie_respawn is much better.
another thing guys...don't all mappers understand that once they publish their map that it's PUBLIC DOMAIN...I mean really? You simply can not tag any sort of intellectual property to your time spent into your map...it's not like it's your own code...IDK...just saying

There is a diffrence between legality and courtesy. All your map are belong to Valve:roll:, sure, but every inch of that map is a virtual representation of the author's thought and imagination. To some, especally the more art driven type of people, alot of sacrifices have already been made in the sake of playability. At least it was still their work when they made the changes. I'm sure most people don't care when thier stuff is tweaked as long as they still get credit, and most of the rest would give give permission if asked. Michelangelo didn't own the Sistine Chapel, but that didn't make the work any less his. I think it is the same deal here. Just a friendly counter-argument.
