ZombieMod 4.0

Hey guys,

I had a good working ZM server until 8/30 when valve skrewed it up again. I downloaded the 1.2.3 fix into my cstrike directory - however my server still wont start. I open it and click start server and the window dissappears and i never see the server console come up. This happened before when valve messed it up after 1.1.

can anyone help me?

Server Stats:
Athlon 3200+ Barton
1GB DDR400
200GB Maxtor Diamondmax
MSI Geforce 6600GT

plugins:
Zombiemod 1.2.3
Mani_admin plugin V1.2 Beta N RC2-3, August 31st 2006

did you actually shut-down the server b4 copying the new dll file over?

it wouldnt start in the first place - thats my problem i click start server and nothing comes up.

so no it wasnt running when i copied over the new DLL

Let me take a wild guess here, are you running metamod 1.3?

I had 1.2.3 on there and it did this, so i updated it to 1.3

still same problem

Ok how about this:

Can anyone with a working server post a torrent of their whole dedicated server directory in a zip ??

dont know why no ones done that yet, but that would make things like way easier ROFL

it is problaly something they need to fix in this latest version of mani, cross your fingers boy ^^ I got same problem :d

Well mine wouldn't start up So I did some steps


1) delete any mods
2) update it
3) Start server w/o mods
4) put mods on there

Repeat till it works!

I finally got my server fixed thanks to Moonlight reminding me of something...
If you have restricted the smoke or some other guys in zombiemod.cfg it will lead into a crash, read here:

I edited my zombiemod.cfg and now my server is working back again, wiiiiiiiiiiiiiii ^^

P.S. This should go in FAQ maybe, since it's actually a really silly problem if you don't know how to fix it, god thank I had Moonlight to save my day, otherwise I would still be fucking around with my server.

Reinstall MetaMod or reinstall server.

GUYS I FIGURED IT OUT BY REMOVING EVERYTHING AND ADDING THEM ONE BY ONE, MANI ADMIN WAS HOSING ZM FOR ME. ONCE I REINSTALLED DS AND ZM IT WORKED WITH METAMOD 1.3, BUT NOT WITH MANI....

hey, if i dont have Mani_admin anymore and im using BAT instead which is working fine BTW

how do i adjust the ammo amounts?

this is driving me CRAY-Z!!
