Question about ammo

If you turn off unlimited ammo and set the custom ammo reserve than each player still has about average 30 rounds to shoot before he reloads, while unlimited ammo you just hold down your mouse and give me a headache and kind of boring game play..
Is there any possible way to change the clipsize of the ammo in the gun to say a couple hundred before a reload is needed while having the ammo reserves set to on, or possibly unlimited ammo reserve while still only holding a couple hundred rounds in the gun before a reload is needed?
